Infrared Sauna in Orchid, Florida

Unveiling Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna in Orchid, Florida

An infrared sauna is a type of sauna that uses infrared heaters to emit radiant heat, which is absorbed directly by the body to promote relaxation, detoxification, and potential health benefits. The benefits of infrared lights include improved circulation, pain relief, reduced inflammation, and enhanced skin health, making them valuable for various therapeutic and wellness applications.

How Infrared Saunas Work

Infrared saunas use three types of infrared light: near, mid, and far. Each of these targets a different part of the skin layer to have a wildly different effect from the others. Near is for the skin’s surface, and it aids in wound healing, skin rejuvenation, and other surface-level problems. Far penetrates deeply to warm the muscles and relieve muscular pains and injuries. Mid is a fair middle ground for the two.

This is the big difference between a traditional sauna and a professional infrared sauna. A traditional sauna changes the air temperature, and while that does help with some things, it doesn’t provide the same targeted, highly effective results that the direct-warming infrared lighting provides.

At Performance Hyperbaric, our advanced infrared saunas use all 3 lighting methods to provide comprehensive and effective results.

Infrared Sauna Benefits

Infrared saunas provide a wide variety of benefits that you might not expect. These include detoxification, muscle repair, circulation improvement, skin health improvement, pain relief, and more.

Detoxification

Detoxification is one of the benefits that infrared saunas share with traditional saunas, and it’s the benefit most people immediately think of with saunas in general. However, IR saunas, similar to red light therapy, take it to the next level.

An IR sauna gets amazing results with deeper warming, but it’s done at lower temperatures. This allows for a more comprehensive detox with a heightened sense of comfort.

Pain Relief and Muscle Recovery

The rejuvenating power of infrared light provides relief for the most common sources of chronic pain. This includes arthritis, muscle aches and pains from intense exercise, chronic joint pain from old injuries, inflammation issues, and more.

This is great for anyone suffering from those issues, but it’s extremely popular with athletes since they frequently put their bodies through so much to reach peak performance.

Better yet, this helps the muscles and joints recover. It doesn’t just mask the pain. So, long-term benefits can be expected for many of those problems.

For deeper support, many clients pair infrared sauna sessions with PEMF and IV vitamin therapies to accelerate tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and promote faster recovery.

Improved Circulation

Infrared sauna sessions greatly improve your body’s circulation. This sounds like a great basic benefit, but it’s actually an extremely comprehensive, full-body benefit for serious issues.

Your body’s circulation is like the motor oil in your car moving through the engine. If it’s not flowing well, everything starts falling apart. From your muscular performance to the health of practically all of your organs, circulation is crucial for your overall health. It can even impact things such as your sexual health, energy levels, cellular regeneration and healing, and more.

In general, enhancing your body’s circulation is going to serve you well in every aspect of your life.

Skin Health and Anti-Aging

If you’re really into maintaining your physical image, you know how difficult it can be to combat aging. You can end up thousands of dollars deep into a variety of products and spending hours every day applying all of that while still getting subpar results.

Infrared therapy makes your anti-aging routine simple. Near-infrared therapy directly rejuvenates the skin on a cellular level. Instead of covering it in topicals and other solutions, you simply enhance your skin’s ability to heal and repair itself.

This provides longer-lasting results, and the results are much more natural. That’s on top of getting all the other benefits we’re mentioning.

What to Expect During a Session

Infrared therapy is a lot less intense compared to a traditional sauna. You’ll only be participating in the session for roughly 15 to 30 minutes, similarly to the HOCATT. It’s not long at all, but that does not include recovery time to drink fluids and get back to your normal temperature. That takes about 15 more minutes.

Temperatures are also lower. The sauna will be between 120 and 140 degrees.

Overall, you can expect a brief period in a hot red room that’s designed to relax you.

Who Should (and Shouldn’t) Use an Infrared Sauna?

If you suffer from chronic pain, need stress relief, or want to detox, IR saunas are perfect for you. They’re also great for general health and wellness improvement.

However, if you’re pregnant or suffer from a cardiovascular issue, it’s not a good option for the time being.

As with any therapy, make sure you consult with your doctor before starting.
